Alps, a leading provider of insurance add-on policies, legal expenses, and claims solutions for intermediaries, has announced the launch of its new Fleet Guaranteed Hire Vehicle Insurance (GHV) policy.
The Alps Fleet GHV add-on policy provides guaranteed access to a hire vehicle when an insured vehicle is rendered undriveable following a road traffic collision, fire, malicious damage, or theft. Designed to minimise downtime and operational disruption, the cover ensures drivers can remain mobile while their vehicle is being repaired or a claim is being settled.
Cover is provided for 14 days per claim, with replacement vehicles available up to the equivalent size of a large van (for example, a Mercedes Sprinter SWB), depending on customer need. The policy is available for fleets ranging from as few as five vehicles to 300 vehicles.

The capacity for its products comes from a growing panel of highly capitalised insurers and it operates a number of delegated authority arrangements, allowing it to offer brokers a fast and efficient service.
