Alps Joins ABACUS Online Panel

Alps, a leading MGA and provider of insurance add-on policies, legal expenses, and claims solutions for intermediaries, has announced a new partnership with let and unoccupied property specialist ABACUS, to provide its 1,500 retail brokers with instant access to a leading range of add-on products.

Under the terms of the agreement, Alps will provide ABACUS brokers with immediate online access to its specialist home emergency, commercial landlord legal, excess protect and rent protection add-on products. The partnership delivers more choice to brokers and the 250,000 landlords they serve, as well as the benefit of award-winning claims and legal support. Utilising ABACUS’s advanced quote and buy platform, brokers can now build bundled solutions for their clients in order to get the most comprehensive protection at the best possible price.

The new panel partnership also demonstrates the strength of Alps’ carrier relationships. Alps will administer these complex packages under a delegated authority agreement, working alongside multiple insurance and assistance providers to build bespoke offerings that are tailored to landlord needs and highly responsive to their evolving risks.

Michelle O’Reilly, Managing Director at Alps commented: “This partnership underlines our commitment to expanding distribution channels in a way that benefits every stakeholder – brokers, carriers, and ultimately landlords. By combining ABACUS’s innovative platform with Alps’ breadth of specialist products, we’re making it easier for brokers to access and bundle comprehensive solutions. For our carrier partners, it represents a powerful route to market, and for landlords it means wider protection delivered with the claims and legal support we’re known for. It’s an exciting step that reflects our ambition to keep evolving with the needs of the market.”
