Overview

Keep your clients covered when the road lets them down.

Potholes are one of the most common causes of vehicle damage – and the repair costs can quickly add up. Alps Pothole Insurance provides targeted protection for your client’s vehicle, covering damage caused by potholes without impacting their main motor policy. It’s a simple, practical solution that helps drivers stay protected against unexpected road hazards and avoid costly repair bills.

Whats’s Covered:

Pothole Insurance covers the cost of repairing damage to key parts of the vehicle caused by hitting a pothole – including tyres, wheels, suspension, bodywork and headlights. Cover is provided up to a maximum of £2,000 per policy period, with specific limits applying to each type of repair, such as tyre damage, wheel repairs, suspension and bodywork.

This focused cover ensures that some of the most common and expensive types of pothole-related damage are taken care of, helping clients get back on the road quickly without the financial strain of unexpected repairs.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Will clients need to disclose pothole claims on their insurance applications?

We don’t upload pothole claims to CUE so no need for customers to disclose this as renewal/NB. If the customer notifies their motor insurer of a pothole related incident, this is when CUE would be updated and the claim would be disclosable.
